Data Entry Claims Clerk
This remote role offers a competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $24.23, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health coverage, 401(k) contributions, incentive and recognition programs, and access to employee stock purchase options. The position is full-time and requires availability to work eight-hour shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. CST, with occasional mandatory overtime. Training will be provided virtually over a six to eight-week period, incorporating both instructor-led sessions and on-the-job shadowing. Responsibilities include accurately entering claims data, analyzing trends, reworking submissions when necessary, and maintaining data confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be 18 years of age or older, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer use. The ideal applicant will also possess one year of prior experience in medical or dental claims, strong attention to detail, and a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute. Although not required, familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT codes is preferred. A quiet, secure workspace and reliable high-speed internet are necessary to meet the demands of remote work expectations.
